ANNOUNCING BIG CHANGES!!! I am no longer teaching Intuitive Painting in my studio. After 15 years it was time to move in a different direction. I am now teaching Workshops in Discovering the Gifts of Your Shadow and Affirmative Innergetics© Online. I am also doing Private Session of these two processes Online one on one as well. Below is a description of both.

SHDOW WORK – After teaching for 15 years and each class watching my students get stronger and stronger in their sense of self I have decided to teach separately the techniques I developed to make that happen. One of the most powerful of these techniques is Shadow Work. My New online Discovering the Gifts in Your Shadow workshop runs 6 weeks and each week we cover a different aspect of your Shadow and how to integrate it back into your life. As Carl Jung says this will make you “more whole.” The great part is you can learn to do this yourself and to recognize when your shadow is effecting your life. Then you can do something about it. This was always one of the most powerful parts of the painting class and I’m glad I can pass it along.

Let’s Start the New Year off Right. Announcing January 2022 Intuitive Painting Workshop “What Do I Need to Know for the Coming Year?” January 29-30, All day Saturday and Sunday 10 to 5, my studio in North Portland. No previous art experience necessary, all art supplies included. Details below. Also a restart for experienced artist wanting to get a new perspective on their art.

This has been a crazy year for sure. Lots of self reflection and alone time due to Covid. It’s time to get in the studio and let the paint tell us what we need to know. Join me for a weekend of letting go and letting come. Self discovery and getting in touch with deep authentic parts of yourself. Most of all having fun doing it. The studio will be all ready for you. Small group and safe distance in the studio. You must be vaccinated and will wear masks while painting. Better to be safe.

All you have to do is wear old clothes you can get paint on and bring a sack lunch. I will do the rest. I provide snacks and a variety of teas for the breaks. We will share with others what our paintings are telling us and learn from each other as we listen to our shadows and free up hidden gifts we find. I look forward to painting with all of you. We all get so much information about what we should do and what we should think form outside in the world.  Rarely do we explore our inner world the one inside us to see what it is we want and what it is we care about.  I have been teaching this workshop for over 13 years and each time I watch my students get stronger and stronger in their sense of self each day they paint.  When we take the time to be creative from the inside out it makes big changes in how we understand ourselves and the world.

This workshop is for anyone, young and old, artist and layman, creatives and those that think they are not.  It’s about exploring and finding out what being yourself is all about.  It’s not about better techniques of painting but better techniques of being your authentic self.

We have pain from losses of loved ones and pets.  Often these are hidden in our bodies and are held there until we choose to explore and transform them and see their gifts. In this weekend we will touch on these experiences and see what changes we want to make. How we want to heal, explore and shine a light on what we have been hiding.  We will follow the paint and explore where in our bodies we hold things and use the paint to process them.

Going to be a powerful time as we explore together these places in us that hold the wisdom we are looking for.

*Extra Days Added On.  This year I’m going to try a new experiment.  One of my students requested that she wanted to paint for longer. That she thought there was a lot more she needed to explore and that a couple more days of painting would be great.  So for those of you that want to go even deeper you can add on the extra two days for an additional  $80 per day.  The studio will be open so you can add one or two days what ever suits your needs.  Just let me know when you sign up or during the weekend if you want to take advantage of this option.
